Ilyn joined The Accountancy in 2017 when Clement and Associates merged their practice with the firm. She earned her license as an Enrolled Agent in March 2019. Her newly found passion with helping clients deal with their taxes motivated her to take the IRS exam and get her license to better serve the needs of clients. She has experience with individual and business income tax returns and various federal and state return audits.
Ilyn holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from The Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas in Manila. She was a Marketing Officer in one of the top banks in the Philippines before she immigrated to the United States.
Ilyn is proficient in Filipino and loves to travel with her family. During her free time, she takes her kids to their scheduled matches and is their number one supporter from the bleachers.
