Jocelyn is called Joy for short and fondly referred to as “Joy to the world” by clients and peers regardless of the season. She lives up to her name Joy, for she radiates with enthusiasm and positivity both in work and personal life. She always has a ready smile and greetings for everyone.
Coming from a family of educators, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts at the University of Santo Thomas, in the Philippines. She also earned MA units in Special Education, majoring in Early Childhood Education at St. Joseph’s College, Philippines. Joy rendered two decades of service in the Philippines’ biggest electric utility wherein she held various positions including HR Administrative Staff and Executive Secretary.
She immigrated to the USA with her family and landed far from her field of education. Joy was given the chance to learn an area of billing in a medical laboratory for almost three years. With a resume geared towards the healthcare industry, fate played its role and she was hired at The Accountancy as our Front Office Coordinator. Her experience in customer service, clerical and administrative skills comes in handy in performing her work with passion and rendering service with integrity.
Her recipe in life is to find true joy in everything you do, big or small, and share joys that never end. She sees life as a rainbow and every day is a blessing.
